Welcome new British High Commissioner

On behalf of the National Initiative against Organised Crime (NIOC)- Pakistan, we welcome the British High Commissioner-designate Jane Marriott who has arrived in Islamabad as the new U.K. envoy.

Her message on arrival is full of warm sentiments for Pakistan: “Our friendship stems from our shared history and values, deep people-to-people ties, growing trade links and a renewed development partnership,” she said.

Her experience as head of the UK’s Joint International Counter Terrorism Unit will certainly help prioritise the work against Serious and Organised Crime in both the UK and Pakistan.

CGR-NIOC teams of professional experts and Civil Society Alliance on UNTOC Review Mechanism look forward to enhanced cooperation during her assignment in Islamabad.
